Safeguarding & Welfare
We have three fully trained welfare officers within the club.
We are proud of the safe and professional environment we provide for all of our members. If you have any concerns around the welfare of any of our members please contact one of our designated welfare officers described below.
Please refrain from contacting welfare for any other club related enquiry and use the contact details at the top of this page.

Welfare Officer :  Sarah Nafisi (Broad) Mob: 07554112629 email: welfare@cheshiregymnastics.com

My name is Sarah Nafisi and I have recently been appointed to the team of Club Welfare Officer’s.

As a family we have been members of Cheshire Gymnastics since 2017 when my daughter began training with the club. To date my role within the club has been as an Acrobatics Judge and a Parent Volunteer, I am an advocate for the importance of exercise in any form for children’s wellbeing and I pride myself on my work ethic, responsibility, and integrity.
Outside of gymnastics I am a mum of three and the branch secretary for the Cheshire West and Chester Branch of the National Autistic society.
As a new Welfare Officer my role is to support a positive child centred environment within gymnastics. To assist the club in safeguarding children and to act as a point of contact for anyone who has any concerns.
Safeguarding the gymnasts is everyone’s responsibility, through open communication and transparency we can continue to create a positive environment where all gymnasts can thrive.

Welfare Officer :  Emma Rowlands Mob: 07899361759 email: welfare@cheshiregymnastics.com

My name is Emma Rowlands and I have recently been added to the team of Welfare Officers at the club.

My daughter and I have been members for the past three years. My daughter is in the Acrobatics Squad, where I am a Volunteer Coach and Judge.
Outside of gymnastics I work as a Learning Support Assistant, at a local High School.
As a member of the Welfare team, it is important that I am  approachable to all members. Ensuring that they are supported and comfortable.
Safeguarding all our members is everyone’s responsibility, which we all work hard to do.
