Tumblers Compete Well Against GB Squad Members

Alisha Evanson and Amy Buckle performed great at the Revolution Competition at Lilleshall coming back with Gold (Alisha), Silver(Alisha non BG Squad Comp) and Bronze (Amy Overall) Medals from the Day. They were competing against Great Britain Squad members and both competed well and nailed their runs. Its time to look at the higher tariff elements now so they can both compete at the higher levels and push for the top!

Moss Farm Performance Centre – Nearly there now!

Lots of work ongoing at the centre as the walls and floors are being constructed for the foam pits and the fasttack/tumble track areas. Deliveries coming in daily for materials and new equipment. Next few weeks the heating and electrical installations that are all brand new are about to start. Hopefully in April we will be all ready to go but still will have lots to do to get the facility to where we want it!

Bounce with the Best!

Tra-Worlds-web-template2Ever fancied trampolining with a Champion? Now’s your chance! The Wingate Centre will be hosting it’s first ever INCLUSIVE Bounce-a-thon with special guest British Champion Trampolinist Bryony Page on Sunday 24th April. This very special sponsored event is open to bouncers of any age (5-100), gender and ability and is fun that ALL the family can take part in to raise vital funds for The Wingate Centre. The money raised will help to subsidise holidays at Wingate for children with disabilities or who are disadvantaged. And it’s absolutely FREE!

What is a Bounce-a-thon?

The aim is to get as many bounces in as we can in just 4 hours. Each of our 3 huge trampolines will be in action and every bouncer will take part in a 15 minute bounce broken into 5 minute intervals! The idea is to get as many bounces in as you can in those 15 minutes to raise sponsorship money for The Wingate Centre. We are also very lucky to have British champion Trampolinist Bryony Page, who started her trampolining career at Wingate, joining us to take part and show us how it’s done! Throughout the day there will be snacks and refreshments available and there will be some fantastic displays that can be watched from our gallery and our outside play areas will also be open to enjoy!

How do I enter?

To take part please email or post the attached registration form to the Wingate Centre by Monday 18th April (spaces limited on a first come first serve basis). Emails go to office@thewingatecentre and write “bounce-a-thon” in the title or post forms to: The Wingate Centre, Wrenbury Hall Drive, Wrenbury, Nantwich, CW58ES. Reception is also open Monday-Friday 9.30am-5pm or Saturday 9am-12pm to drop your form in.
